How to Discover and Tell Your Story

If you take the time to write down your personal stories about people and big events in your life, you’ll find that you have a lot of stories to tell.

How did you meet your spouse?

How did you know they were the one?

What was your client’s life like before they hired you?

Stories are something that most people can relate to. If you feel stuck with your story, the thing that’s holding you back may be an underlying idea that you don’t have a story. The truth is, everyone has a story. Learn how tell them, how to use them in various situations.

Why is this so important? Time and time again, we see that storytelling is by far the best form of marketing.

Think about your stories and start to write them down. Each story should have a structure with a setup, conflict and resolution. Not sure where to start? I’ve got you covered, because after shooting over 2,000 interviews with clients I know how to find and bring out the story. And believe me when I say that everyone has a story to tell.

Listen to this week’s episode and learn my blueprint for telling better stories.

Remember: branding is for cattle, people buy stories!
