Perception is not just thinking, it is feeling it. Many business owners feel they need to add services to increase value. Adding services might look like added value but does your ideal client perceive that value? Start to look at your marketing efforts and figure out how you can increase value perception.
As experts we often forget that something we consider to be simple can be very valuable to our clients. This simple value can have a huge impact. If you can find these simple values you can help people very easily.
Your marketing does not need to be all about your business. Often when you bring 2 pieces of value together there is a synergistic effect. Think about your ideal client and determine the ways you are uniquely qualified to help them.
As people move down the know, like, trust scale are you still providing value? Think about ways you can increase the perceived value to those clients that have come to trust you. This is not about acquiring more customers, it is about increasing the value to the clients that know, like and trust you.
