“Nothing is softer or more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it”Lao Tzu
A little more esoteric then the usual quote, but also carrying more meaning. In our modern day rush for “more” and “now” we tend to try and push through obstacles with all of our force. When it comes to entrepreneurship and sales, the same thing. We want it all now and the only thing that is ever shown to us is the end result.
Greatness and happiness, especially in today’s world of immense opportunity, comes with persistence and flexibility. This means you might not accomplish what you want today but instead of sprinting and stopping, work continuously at a pace.
I try to think of my days a calm continuous pace. (It does not always work) I might run into obstacles but instead of using my entire might to push through them , I move around know eventually they will wear down. Hard work does not mean always running in the red, huffing and puffing. The hard work that leads to success is getting up everyday, working continuously toward a goal and be willing to work around the obstacles until they are gone.
