Training a mustang is said to be extremely challenging.
There are two ways to tame a mustang. You can fight it and beat it into submission.
The other option is you can slowly, consistently, gain its trust.
Either way you must never forget that the mustang is inherently wild.
Your mindset is the same way. You can use brute force and will power to force your self into marketing or you can embrace mindsets like fun, consistency and the 1% mindset.
If you want to tame your mindset you have to choose. You also have to imagine what kind of creature will come out of each approach.
