The wider your network, the more opportunities open for you.

 

It’s not a difficult concept to grasp.

 

And now, you’re probably thinking, “DUH?!”

Because the real problem right now is how you could build your network ORGANICALLY.

 

Erik revealed one trick to easily build your network and gain respect in the process.

 

IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO VALUE

 

People are attracted to other people who can provide them with value.

 

Be it in the form of a podcast, Facebook and Instagram posts, FREE learning materials, IT DOESN’T MATTER.

 

You have to give that free value intended for people you mean to surround yourself with.

 

This is a surefire way to do it.

 

YES, BUILDING YOUR NETWORK IS GREAT FOR OPPORTUNITIES.

 

But besides that, it is also a great way to find better people that you can TRUST.

 

Sometimes, it can be difficult to find the perfect business partner.

 

Take Erik as an example:

 

“I’ve had some amazing partners. I’ve had some that were not so amazing. One of the things there is, I want to be their friend. I want to be able to go have a beer with them or go on vacation with them, you know, all of those types of things.

 

But I’ve had partners that didn’t view the partnership as an entity and didn’t like being advised. They didn’t think of that entity as like, “Let’s do what’s best for the agents.” The entity they were thinking as, “I want to do what’s best for me as my 20% partner, 30% partner in this particular entity.” So those are probably my bigger failures monetarily, and then just relationally with picking the wrong partner.”

 

HOW DO I FIND THE PERFECT BUSINESS PARTNER?

 

Do I have to say it again?

 

LOOK INTO YOUR NETWORK.

 

People within your network are likely people that you can trust– at least most of them.

 

It would be easier to catch people who have the right work ethic, resources, and values right within your circle, than outside.

 

But sometimes, a limiting factor to finding the perfect partner is the size of your network.

 

That’s why building your network is key to growing and investing in a successful business.
