THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD

In the business world, there are two types of people: Integrators and Visionaries.

Integrators are the ones who get things done; they’re the doers, the planner, the reliable ones.

They make sure that the trains run on time.

Visionaries are the ones with the big ideas; they’re the creative ones, the ones who see potential where others don’t.

Integrators and visionaries need each other to be successful; without a visionary, there’s no one to come up with the big ideas, and without an integrator, there’s no one to turn those ideas into reality.

If you want to be successful in business, it’s important to learn how to work with both types of people.

But which one are you?

You can take the time to discover that by taking a short quiz right here.

Once you have your answer, continue reading.

YOU ARE A VISIONARY IF…

You may not think of yourself as a visionary, but if you like to sit in your thinking chair and come up with the brightest ideas or potential moves for the company, then that’s exactly what you are.

Visionaries are people who can see beyond the here and now, and imagine what could be.

This ability is essential for businesses, as it allows them to innovate and stay ahead of the competition.

Visionaries are often creative and outside-the-box thinkers, and they’re not afraid to take risks.

If this sounds like you, then congratulations – you have the makings of a successful business leader.

So don’t be afraid to share your ideas with the world, and who knows where they might take you.

“The visionary: the big thinker; the idea maker;  the relationship guy;  the one that’s coming up with all kinds of new ideas, that’s just like always thinking six– 12 months ahead of time, or maybe even three or 10 years.”

YOU ARE AN INTEGRATOR IF…

As an integrator, you love nothing more than making sure that everything is running smoothly and according to plan.

You are the glue that holds businesses together, and you take great pride in your work.

Whether it’s coordinating different departments or coming up with new systems and procedures, you are always looking for ways to improve efficiency and productivity.

Your colleagues know that they can rely on you to get the job done, and they often come to you for advice and guidance.

You are a natural leader, and you have a deep understanding of how businesses operate.

As an integrator, you are an essential piece of the puzzle, and businesses would be lost without you.

“The integrator is the one that’s like taking those good ideas and making those ideas actually happen because a visionary is very optimal. An integrator is really realistic. and a visionary is coming up with all kinds of new ideas. But the integrator is the one that takes the two of the 20 new ideas each week and executes those ideas.”

WHY SHOULD YOU KNOW THIS?

In any business, it’s important to know what role you play.

Are you the visionary, responsible for coming up with the big ideas and driving the company forward?

Or are you the integrator, responsible for making those ideas a reality and keeping everything running smoothly?

It’s dangerous to try and play a role that doesn’t suit you – if you’re an integrator who tries to be a visionary, you may end up with a lot of great ideas that never come to fruition.

Similarly, if you’re a visionary who tries to be an integrator, you may find yourself bogged down in the details and unable to move the company forward.

Knowing which role you play is essential to ensuring that your business is successful.

And not knowing this may lead to– you guessed it.

BURN-OUT.

Because by the end of the day, it is extremely exhausting to play a role that isn’t fit for you.

In his episode, Casey talked a lot more about the Visionary and Integrator concept, as well as other concepts to help you maximize your business growth.
