This week we will be focusing on Marketing with purpose.
Many business owners think getting more leads is the best thing they can do. If you do not have a plan or purpose for gaining more leads what’s the point? Telling the story of your purpose reminds you, your team and your clients how they connect to what you are doing.
Results, Purpose and Massive Action Plan.
This idea is based on Tony Robbins’ Rapid Action Plan. Every great marketing plan has these three steps. Before starting anything you need to know the results you want as well as the overall purpose. If you do not know these two things you can’t really speak to your audience. This is a significant mindset shift that everyone needs to integrate into their daily life.
Why do you do any marketing?
We have to be thinking this because we often get caught up in just doing things. Being able to answer this question is crucial to how we shape our business and how we think about marketing. If you don’t truly understand why you are marketing you are going to be unhappy with the results.
People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.
Simon Sinek
If you really believe in your purpose it is you unique value proposition. People will buy from you if you sell with that purpose. Know your why and tell people about it. You can’t make everyone happy all the time but selling with purpose will ensure you work with the right people.
How do you connect the why with your client’s purpose?
Think about what they want in this moment. What do they want at a bigger scale?
Answering these questions will help you connect with your clients but also fulfill a deeper part of yourself.
